Upcoming Research Seminar in Brisbane

The next Energy Pipelines CRC/ APGA RSC Seminar will be held on the 7th November 2018 at the Brisbane Hilton, Brisbane, Queensland.
An update of major activities within the four Energy Pipelines CRC research programs will be given. Detailed presentations will be given on some of the more advanced or completed projects. There will be considerable time for questions, and discussions on all levels is strogly encouraged.

Key presentations will include up updates on a number of completing projects including CP-shielding affecting corrosion under disbanded coatings and a Fracture Control Industry Code of Practice. An update will also be provided on the Joint Industry Project Examining Fracture Control in CO2 transport pipelines. This is the final planned research dissemination seminar for the Energy Pipelines CRC.

The Energy Pipelines CRC team has noted repeatedly the importance of engaging younger members of the Australian Pipeline industry to ensure the long term safety and efficiency of Australian Pipeline Infrastructure. To promote this initiative, the Energy Pipelines CRC management team encourage APGA RSC members to bring younger members of their organisations to this event.
