Successful Darwin APGA Convention
Energy Pipelines CRC staff and researchers recently attended the Annual APGA Convention and Exhibition held this year in Darwin from 8th-11th September. The convention was well attended and provided opportunities for engagement with the boarder Australian pipeline industry
Two presentations were given as part of the business sessions based on Energy Pipelines CRC research and activities as well as the Future Fuels CRC establishment. Robert Newton provided an update on current Energy Pipelines CRC projects as well as a timeline heading towards the wind up of CRC funded activities in June 2019. Future Fuels CRC CEO David Norman provided an update on establishment activities for the new Future Fuels CRC and the ongoing process to being conducting research projects.
The trade stand remained a key meeting point for many interested throughout the event. With information on the current work of the Energy Pipelines CRC as well as updates on the establishment of the Future Fuels CRC With attendees from across the globe, there was many opportunities to highlight the effectiveness of the CRC program to those not familiar with it.
This was the last APGA convention that the Energy pipelines CRC will be in attendance at due to the completion of activities in June 2019. The Future Fuels CRC team are looking forward to attending next years convention which will be held in Adelaide from 12th– 15th October 2019.
