Steve Dobbie

Steve Dobbie has been in the position of Business Manager of the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association since February 2004 following many years accumulating strong experience in the management of associations.

Prior to his role at APGA, he held senior management roles in a number of sectoral membership-based associations within a range of industries, including the ACT Australian Football League and the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society. He also fulfilled the role of Manager, International Section of the Australian Sports Commission where he was responsible for the overseeing of a number of community-based sports development programs in various Commonwealth countries around the world.

From these positions, he has developed a comprehensive background encompassing all areas of financial, governance, administration and event management. Steve is Company Secretary for APGA Ltd and the Australian Gas Industry Trust (AGIT).

Steve graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1979 and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
