Mark Fothergill

Mark has 25 years of experience in project management, construction, operational engineering and engineering management. He is responsible for strategic design, asset management and engineering deliverables for growth projects and day-to-day operations for gas pipelines, gas distribution networks, gas storage, gas processing facilities, gas-fired power stations, wind farms and high voltage electricity transmissions. He is the current Chairman of the APGA’s Research and Standards Committee (RSC).

Mark graduated from the University of Queensland with honours degree in Chemical Engineering, a Post-Graduate Diploma of Computing Studies from University of Canberra and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mark has held a number of senior management positions including:

  • General Manager – Infrastructure Strategy and Engineering
  • General Manager - Assets Management and Engineering
  • APT Client Program Manager, NSW
